On April 10, 2025, a Bell 206 sightseeing helicopter crashed into the Hudson River near Newport, Jersey City.[1] All six aboard—a family of five and the pilot—were killed. The aircraft was operated by New York Helicopters, and was operating its sixth flight of the day.
